What are some famous memoirs to read?

I have to choose a memoir as an IRP for AP English. Can I have some suggestions on some really great memoirs? My interests span in many things, notably in history.

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings- Maya Angelou
Angela's Ashes- I'm not sure who wrote it
