Q&A: How do you add comic relief into a sword and sorcery fantasy novel?

Question by XenonVortex "Team Voldemort": How do you add comic relief into a sword and sorcery fantasy novel?

I've read many epic fantasy books where the humor just BOMBS, but I realize it's actually quite difficult to write. Would you suggest spreading the humor equally around different people in the group, or have the comic relief be just one or two people?

Answer by O.o Erm Yeah...
Ahhh. Comic relief. My comic relief is mostly humor that the characters (not me) come up with in the voice inside my head and I just write it down, and a very blunt ignorant caring character helps too. =]
